Metadata Manager also delivers personalized data lineage and comprehensive impact analysis, which gives IT organizations additional insight into and trust in the data driving business decisions.
The metadata manager team is responsible for developing the metadata manager product which consists of a metadata repository, meta models and several services to manage metadata, search, lineage and persistence of metadata in a repository. It requires expertise in areas like object-oriented design, multi-threaded algorithms, effective use of design patterns, programming using cutting-edge technologies like Java, XML/XSD, Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Compass and OSGI frameworks

Skills
BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science
7+ of industry server-side development experience
Proven track record on building highly scalable and high performance software
Strong experience in OO design and implementation
Strong programming skills (Java) and expertise in multi-threaded development
Excellent knowledge of algorithms and data structure
• XML Schema and Web Services Technologies
• A good background on Spring, Hibernate/ORM technologies
• Strong experience on RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 etc
• Experience with Java code profiling tools like YourKit
• Experience with a testing framework Junit/TestNG is a must
• Experience with scripting languages like Groovy/Ruby/Perl/Python is a plus
• Exposure to Agile methodology or Test Driven Development is a plus
• Domain Expertise : Data Governance (or/and) Data integration is a plus
