Job Description

Role : Expert – Performance & People Growth
Location : Bangalore/ Gurgaon/North America/Europe (Flexible)

The Global Performance & People Growth function is a key function of the People Success team (HR in most organizations) and has a mandate to contribute to global core HR initiatives focusing on Talent Management & Talent Strategy. The function, led by the Director – Global Performance & People Growth, primarily works on driving the Talent Management agenda for Sapient , designing and delivering Global Talent Management Framework and Solutions, providing an integrated Talent Management Strategy for managers and employees to identify, nurture, deploy and enable top talent, build organizational capabilities for the present and future by driving Global Talent management projects including mentoring, coaching, leadership development, succession management and Hi-Pot identification and nurturing and delivering Performance & Potential assessment frameworks for measuring, rewarding and identifying future leaders.

The team is looking to augment its subject matter and execution capabilities to deliver on upcoming talent management initiatives that need to be integrated to provide business a full cycle view of talent identification and enablement.

Skills

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following and others as assigned:

Objectives Results

Performance Management
• Driving the Sapient Performance Management Philosophy and continuously evolving the performance management system in terms of design and execution.

Building Organizational Capabilities
• Drive large scale global talent management projects like the Career Framework that define the overall job structure in the organization along with defining business critical competencies
• drive a system of defining and measuring the right organizational behaviors and integrating it to all people processes

Career Planning
• Institutionalize career management processes like the career week across the organization to enable people to choose their growth correctly at Sapient.

Succession & Hi-Pot Management
• Build processes that enable the organization to identify measure and track employee potential, thereby providing inputs to develop differentiated strategies for development.
• Set up mechanisms to enable employees to align to a growth path in the organization and provide guidance on how they can achieve their desired path.

Stakeholder Management
• Create buy in and socialize all talent programs globally, collaborating with all business stakeholders
• Manage a team of 3-4 people at mid-level and work towards keeping them engaged, productive and motivated.


Education:
• Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, Psychology or equivalent

Experience Guidelines:
• 12-15 years in HR, consulting or organizational development experience, with at least 5 years in the field of Talent Management.
• Preferred thought leadership and execution experience in Talent management initiatives in a global organization
• Worked in dynamic, fast-paced environments
• Has experience building or managing an integrated, competency-based people development system
• Direct managerial responsibility for a mid-sized, experienced team of 3 or more people
