Job Description
The Private Bank (PB)/ Private Client Services (PCS) organization assists high-net-worth individuals in managing their wealth, by advising them on how best to configure their assets for maximum benefit, and by providing financial services to achieve specific goals. PB/PCS draws on the expertise of product specialists throughout JPMorganChase, and coordinates the delivery of services furnished to private clients, so that they complement each other and are presented to (and reported to) the client in an integrated fashion.
PB/PCS works with clients in three interrelated aspects of wealth management:
1) Configuring assets optimally, through various asset ownership structures, diversification strategies, and other techniques for realizing and preserving asset values after taxes
2) Investing effectively, whether clients prefer to manage their portfolio themselves, or want Morgan to manage their investments, or a combination of both
3) Managing liquid assets, so enough is always readily available for clients to meet ongoing needs.

Qualifications
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Programmer/analyst is responsible for the development and delivery of Technology solutions to business issues. It includes full systems project life cycles activities, such as analyzing and documenting business requirements, modeling and designing solutions, testing and implementing new technologies. Focus is on development work and application production support database, mainframe or client/server technologies.
1. Key Responsibilities
Main responsibilities include:
· Analyze, design and implement business-related applications, as well as core applications;
· Interface with users, gather and analyze business requirements;
· Assume ownership of particular applications;
· Ensure that projects follow standards, guidelines and steps as defined in the development methodology;
· Participate in the user acceptance testing and training of new implementations (including the supervision and preparation of user documentation).
2. Knowledge
Knowledge of the different financial instruments is desirable although training will be given to the right person. Experience in a support and/or development role, particularly in a trading environment with a math / analytic background, security industry business knowledge for example Equities, Fixed Income and derivatives would be a plus.
Knowledge of the Olympic Banking Software, both from a functionnality and from an underlying architecture is a plus.
3. Key Competencies and Skills
The candidate will typically have 5+ years experience. Ideally he should be a graduate with a degree in I.T. / Computer Science degree or equivalent.
