Currently we are looking for “Project Manager â€" Mainframeâ€

Job Description:

Lead project / service delivery teams and ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables.
Interact with customers at an operational level for project / service related requirements,
Mentor and guide project / module / service leads and team members.
Works under broad direction.
Full accountability for own technical work or project/supervisory responsibilities.
Establishes own milestones and team objectives.
Influences organisation, customers, suppliers and peers within industry on contribution of specialisation.
Significant responsibility for the work of others and for the allocation of resources.
Decisions impact on success of assigned projects i.e. results, deadlines and budget.
Develops business relationships with customers.

Desired Profile.
Good understanding in Mainframe tools and technologies. Demonstrates excellent communication and Project management skills.
Effectively estimates costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful delivery of the project(s) to agreed terms of reference.
Ensures that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and tracks all activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders, as appropriate.
Provides effective leadership to the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and developing their skills and experience. Conducts structured reviews of work & takes appropriate action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances. Actively represents the project team, ensuring that effective relationships are built and maintained with the business.
Undertakes, or arranges for, Resource requests, training and development of team members
Monitors and reports on the progress of systems development projects, using appropriate quality assurance processes to ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with the organization’s agreed standards, methods and procedures.
Regularly monitors the incidence, status and speed of resolution of enquiries and problems; is pro-active in devising improvements and recommending changes to systems, products or services. Evaluates potential solutions, and implements agreed field modifications or workarounds.

Experience: 7 â€" 9 Years of Mainframe experience
Current Role: Project Manager or playing a role of Project Manager
Education: Any Degree
Skills: COBOL, JCL, DB2
