Job Description

Perform user interface and backend API development for our disk based products. Duties may include implementation of new user interfaces, backend API or library development, hardware/software troubleshooting and writing functional specifications. The position will be working closely with other development team members, service and marketing.

Desired Candidate Profile

- - Must have C/C++, HTML, CGI, Apache or equivalent web server, Linux/Unix, Windows, networking experience (TCP/IP and sockets), design/architecture skills, specification writing and be able to work independently in a small team environment.

- Strong user interface development and technical leadership experience required.

- Additional experience in any of the following would be a plus developing user interfaces for storage products, Java, JavaScript, SNMP, Common Information Model (CIM), WBEM, Perl, TCL/Expect.

- SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) and XML.

- Knowledge of RAID, VTL, NAS, backup applications, Fibre Channel, SCSI and other storage technologies desirable

- Experience with Linux OS/kernels

- Understanding of Networking concepts and client/server programming

- BE / Btech / Mtech

- Minimum of 7 years total software engineering experience and at least 3 years developing web based user interfaces.
