Job Description

As a Manager you will be responsible for selling Informatica's Broader Data Integration (Data Integration, Data Quality, Identity Resolution +++) Software Licenses, Support, Training and Consulting. Targets all named accounts in an assigned geographic territory to sell licenses, support, training, and consulting for Informatica's enterprise data warehousing platform product line.

The main responsibilities of the job include:

• Driving sales activities to meet and exceed sales call, lead conversion and revenue objectives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Manage and develop sales opportunities within existing and new customers, grow relationships and expand sales with existing enterprise clients.

• • Accurate forecast management, providing and maintaining a qualified and up to date funnel, reporting to management on a weekly basis.
• Prospecting and identification of sales opportunities through cold calling.
• Follow up on leads generated by telebusiness, marketing and partners.
• Co-ordination of the full sales process as defined by the Company.
• Respect and adhere to customer and internal Company rules and disclosures at all times

The skill set for this description as follows:

 8 to 10 years of successful enterprise software sales experience
§ in Northern Region in India- commercial and Government organizations
 Have successfully managed enterprise software license sales
§ target of at least $1M or more per annum in previous roles with a track record of over achieving against quota.
§ Able to understand clients' business pains, make strong business cases with clients to adopt INFA solutions , value selling
§ Be capable of operating in an entrepreneurial environment.
§ Have knowledge of Data Warehousing, Database and/or Business Intelligence software concepts and products.
§ Possess excellent presentation, written and verbal skills.
§ BE/ B.Tech or equivalent educational background.
§ Work experience in Apps vendors such as
o Oracle (Apps), SAP, PeopleSoft, Baan, I2, Siebel.
o Big 5 consulting firms with Applications/Data Warehousing experience
o DWH Practice Lead Sales people from organizations like HCL
o eBusiness vendors such as Ariba, Accrue, Net Genesis, Epiphany, Broadbase, Broadvision.
o DW analytics for CRM such as Sagent, Acta, Hyperion, Microstrategy, Cognos, NCR/Terradata

We are looking for someone who has:

§ Sound knowledge of markets
§ Good network in northern region
§ Good networks within markets (both clients and partners)
§ Good BI/ DWH background
§ Experience in generating business and closed large enterprise wide deals in DWH in India
§ Responsible for software license targets of at least US$1M Individual with MNC work experience preferred
§ Effective Team Worker, Independent and Go Getter Attitude, Passionate about solution selling.
§ Excellent forecasting discipline; Consistent and focused on beating personal and team targets
§ Able to sell direct and working with Sis and partners
§ Keen focus on quarterly performance as well as larger deals with wider horizon
§ Projects integrity and honesty through understanding and belief in the Company values
