OPENING IN IBM Change,Incident and Problem Manager 12.9.09


There is an opening for u in IBM for the Location of Chennai. They r looking for the Problem Manager and Change Manager and Incident Manager with 5+yrs of exp.

Brief JD
Problem Manager :-
Total exp should be of minimum 5 years
Exposure to one or more of the infrastructure technologies such as Unix,
DBA and Windows Servers
Exposure to ITIL processes. ITIL foundation certification is not
mandatory,
but will be an added advantage

Change Manager :-
Total exp should be of minimum 5 years
Exposure to one or more of the infrastructure technologies such as Unix,
DBA and Windows Servers
Exposure to ITIL processes. ITIL foundation certification is not
mandatory, but will be an added advantage

Incident Manager:-
Own the Incident Management process within IBM
Ensure that the provision of the service is restored as quickly, ensuring the best possible level of service quality and availability and compliance with service levels.


Deliver benefits to the Customer including: Services are restored as quickly as possible, in a controlled and managed fashion, following an Incident the impact of an Incident on the Customer business operations is minimized Incidents are managed proactively in the interest of the Customer Reduced
disruption for IT support staff and End Users End-to-End management of high severity incidents reported from the point  of initiation to the point of resolution.


Participate in the escalation process and involve the appropriate service manager as required.
Escalate high severity incidents to the Customer Incident Managers and provide initial analysis or resolution reports to the customer and higher management.


Required
™…‚¬· Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology ™…‚¬· Has experience in Managing large Infrastructure projects for a Customer : Mastered ™…‚¬· Has managed SLA Compliance for the customer and under taken service improvement projects : Mastered ™…‚¬· Knowledge of ITIL Preferred. : Mastered ™…‚¬· Has experience in facing Audits and taking corrective actions if required : Mastered· Customer facing skills. : Mastered ™…‚¬· Defining KPI and ensuring review on KPI and take corrective action if necessary : Mastered ™…‚¬· People Management and Experience : Mastered ™…‚¬· English: Fluent
