Requirements: Candidates with 3+ relevant years of experience and & 15 years of Full time education is must.
Position Title: Mainframes IMS Subsystem Programmer

Job description:

* Installation of IMS and IMS Tools for z/OS product versions/releases. Research and apply proactive software maintenance. Perform problem diagnostics and resolution. Perform IMS Performance monitoring, performance and tune when appropriate. Provide input to management on infrastructure architecture related issues. Use IMS performance reports/metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Conduct Production Readiness Inspections of change events, assessing impacts and risks. Develop wellness check scripts, processes and procedures. Contribute to Root Cause Investigation. Document changes to infrastructure configuration. Update system Configuration and resource definitions when required.

• IMS system programming in an Z/OS operating system maintenance / installations -Proficient- Required Database
• IMS Monitoring Tool- Proficient- Required Monitoring tool
• IMS Independent Vendor Products and IMS Tools installation / maintenance - Proficient -Required
• JCL- Proficient- Required Job Control language
• TSO/SDSF/JES2/SYSVIEW -Proficient- Required Environment
• SMP/E -Proficient- Required Installing & maintaining software
• IBM RACF- Proficient- Required Security
• CA / ACF2 or Top secret- Proficient -Required Security
• MS Project- Proficient- Required Project mgmt tool

Required
• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 3 years experience in Mainframe IMS DB/DC
• English: Fluent

Years of Experience: 4 â€" 7 years
