Details about the position:

Position: SAP Fico Consultant
Location: Gurgaon

Requisites:

- Chartered accountant / ICWA / MBA finance / CFA with 7+ years work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of SAP consulting experience in FI-CO module and minimum 3 years functional experience in General ledger, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Taxation and costing.
- Experience in supporting real time production systems in SAP R/3 environment.
- Good understanding of accounting.
- Good understanding of SAP from both functional and technical standpoint.
- Good listening and responding skills
- Preferably certification in SAP-FICO.
- Exposure to US International GAAP is desirable.
- Should have done at least 1 end to end full lifecycle implementation
- Should have a valid passport.
- Willing to travel for 1-2 months.
- Flexible to work in different shifts as per client requirement.

Responsibilities:

- Providing day to day support in the SAP FI/CO areas.
- Troubleshoot basic queries in FICO module.
- Responsible to manage SAP helpdesk activities.
- Responsible for functional support & lead complete configuration activity for finance users in the following areas:
1. Accounts Payable
2. Accounts Receivable
3. T&E module
4. Asset Management
5. General Ledger
6. Cost Centre Accounting
7. Profit Centre Accounting
- Ability to communicate well with the user and understand the business needs should have thorough understanding of Integration of FI with other modules, making basic customization changes, developing new functionalities in SAP as per the client business requirement and managing helpdesk for SAP team.
- Provide solutions for the key requirement/enhancements of the project
- Would be responsible to understand the business process and provide feedback on the same to the other team members for development of technical objects.
- Provide training to the core team members and making detailed testing and training documentation for any FI/CO configuration Changes.
- Define and manage the overall assignment in accordance with the plan ensuring that Team delivers the solution according to defined requirements and timeframes.
