1. JOB POSTING TITLE
Consultant: Transaction Banking

2. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Consultant performs tasks involved in the implementation of the SAP® Transaction Banking solution as per customer requirements using a pre-defined methodology. The Consultant gathers requirements, analyzes the client’s business processes, and installs and configures the SAP solution to support those business processes.

3. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Contribute to the following primary activities of SAP implementation:
o Design
o Configuration
o Testing
o Training
o Data Migration
o Documentation
o Post Implementation Support

• Provide product and business related expertise to support the following:
o Customer Demos
o Proof of Concept building
o Product testing and validation

4. REQUIREMENTS

Education:
• Chartered accountant degree, cost and work accountant degree, master of business administration, or a finance or economics post graduate degree from a reputed institute
• Banking qualification from a recognized body (for example, Indian Institute of Bankers) to supplement a graduate degree can be considered in lieu of the above requirement

Required skills:
• Sound conceptual understanding of banking processes and products
• SAP experience or certification in the financials module
• Tax and revenue management, loans, or business process procedure experience
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture concepts
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience:
• Functional experience in a bank, with exposure to asset and liability products either at the retail or corporate segment level; or at least two end-to-end implementations of any transaction banking system in a functional or business-facing role
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience out of which the mandatory requirements mentioned above must apply
Total Experience is 5-10 yrs.

Travel requirement:
Willingness to travel and be deployed internationally for varying lengths of time.
