GSD India peoplesoft Service Line

Department Description

GSD India Peoplesoft Service Line is part of Global Service Delivery organization

Brief Posting Description

As a member of the Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in a timely manner, at budget, and to our client's satisfaction. This involves working closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure delivery.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

· Build and maintain confidence of clients and colleagues

· Develop and test practical and/or innovative solutions to identified issues

· Produce quality deliverable

· Perform effectively as a member of project team (s)

· Identify, assess and mitigate risk during bid development and project execution

· Lead quality assurance reviews for own and others’ engagement

· May be expected to contribute to the development of winning proposals by providing expert

· Knowledge or relevant technology issues.

· May serve as a mentor or coach to junior consultants

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING

· Degree with at least 5-15 years of relevant experience.

· Demonstrates a high level of analytical and conceptual ability.
Detailed Description

Provide engagement delivery services both as an individual and as a team member. Has subject matter knowledge of relevant implementation responsibility. Database, core applications and web technology knowledge is essential. Has specific experience in implementing Oracle solutions and in systems integrations.

Job Requirements

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. A BS or BA in related fields. 3-6 years overall experience in functional or technical role. One year experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Willing to travel regionally with some national travel.

Additional Details

 


· Should have at least two or three Implementation experience 4 + years of Peoplesoft Implemenation

· Very well versed of People Tools 8.8 and above, Application Designer, Application Engine, PS Query , Component Interface, Integration Broker, etc

· Should have experience in Client Interaction

· Good understanding with Project Life cycle for implementation and support projects.

 

· Good communication and ability to work independently.

 

· Multiple PeopleSoft projects (implementations or upgrades) in PeopleSoft 8.8 or higher.
4+ years of PeopleSoft implementation experience with external clients
must understand PeopleSoft processes and concepts as they relate to ERP implementations.

· Must have experience in leading and completing the full life cycle development of Peoplesoft Financials.

· Process design and application configuration is a Must.

· Document all gaps and work with the client and the custom development team to determine gap resolutions.

· To identify ways to redesign business processes and/or implement Campus Solutions technology required to successfully solve business problems.

· Must be creative, innovative, and be able to work in a fast t-paced environment with the ability to abstract detail into larger patterns, familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques.

· Final design approval and configuration of the application.

· Work with the end users and business owners to map Peoplesoft Applications standard processes to the business needs of the client.

· Lead effort for your functional area and coordinate changes.
