Requirement Details
                1>THE PEOPLESOFT Senior Developer POSITION IS A TECHNICAL, HANDS-ON ROLE WITH AROUND 7-8 YEARS OF RELAVENT EXPEREINCE.  The candidate will have extensive technical development experience in PeopleSoft HRMS / FSCM, with a proven track record of successful PeopleSoft implementations; preferably having worked with a range of version 9 HR/Finance modules. This includes exposure to all areas of the systems lifecycle, from: strong analysis and design skills (which are essential to assist the Business Analysts) through to coding, testing and finally working with Production Support on the migration requirements for implementation delivery
 
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS
Design and develop all aspects of disparate multi-business unit and multi-country data conversions. Build application tables, panels / pages and reports to conform to global requirements. Develop code for PeopleSoft Financials / HRMS modules and unique complex functions in accordance w/ business line and specific country requirements inclusive of multi-currency and country specific data protection regulations. Integrate internal and external application data. Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues. Maintain technical documentation. Manage 3rd level PeopleSoft Application support efforts provided by staff. Design and develop SQR / Application Engine / PeopleCode, pages and other associated internal PeopleSoft objects. Participate in evaluation and deployment planning of new PeopleSoft system functionality. Assist in planning and implementation of PeopleSoft application and tools upgrades and updates.
For current HR developer requirement following skill set is needed.
 
- PeopleSoft HR v8 / v9 development experience, with strong functional knowledge.
- On-line development with Record/Page/Component PeopleCode and the Component Processor.
- Proven interfacing experience with an in depth understanding of Application Engine, File Layouts and Component Interfaces.
- Understanding of Objects, Classes, Properties and Methods.
- In depth grasp of Workforce Administration.
- Experience of HR modules, such as: Benefits, Self Service (particularly with AWE), Time and Labor, Salary Planning, Performance Management, Payroll and Applicant Tracking is a very strong plus.
- Good knowledge of Workflow and approval routing would be beneficial.
- Exposure to Messaging / Integration Broker and Application Packages is a plus.
 
Role and Personal Qualities:

2>THE PEOPLESOFT Application Support Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
" Analyze and resolve technical / data issues for PeopleSoft Financials 8.4 / 8.9 / 9.0 and PeopleSoft HR 9.0
" Installation and configuration of PeopleSoft  Environments
" Interface with end users to diagnose, assist with and resolve a variety of diverse and technically difficult customer issues.
" Interact with Infrastructure Services, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and/or correct core problems.
" Develop and conduct tests on configurations to ensure functionality
" Work independently to determine solutions
" Provide On Call support outside of normal business hours on a rotational basis
 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
 
" Experience in PeopleSoft Financials 8.4 / 8.9 / 9.0, PeopleSoft HR 9.0
" Experience with PeopleSoft application support and technical troubleshooting
" Experience with SQL (relating to troubleshooting technical application issues)
" Experience with UNIX and Windows systems / server administration
" Experience with messaging and web services
" PeopleSoft Administration experience
" Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
" Strong customer relationship skills
" Excellent organizational and time management skills
" Highly motivated and resourceful
