Responsibilities:
# Develops and applies state of the art engineering, and scientific theories and methods to the solution of complex technical problems.
# Works without much supervision.
# Plans, organizes, and performs the technical phases of an assignment and interacts with design engineers on technical aspects relating to the project.

Requirements:
# BS in EE, CS, is required and a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
# Good C++ application (user-space) development experience on Linux/UNIX or Windows platform.
# Sound understanding of Operating System internals like UNIX.
# Understanding of Networking domain is essential.
# Excellent verbal and written communication.
# Excellent practical understanding of world-class software development process.
# Experience with SAN domain will be a plus.
# Understanding of any of the following would be a plus WBEM, CIM, Storage Management SMI-S, SNMP, MIBs, etc.

Job Description

• Demonstrate capability or show experience in providing technical leadership for medium/large projects
• Good communication and energetic personality
• Should have grown from strong programming background in C++ and at least one technology of MFC or COM or .Net. Should not have lost touch with programming.
• Good analytical and problem solving abilities
• Experience in defining requirements, doing complex SW design and implementation
• Ability to coordinate activities across cross-functional teams
• Thorough knowledge of SDLC and software engineering
• Knowledge of CMM or other process models
• Knowledge of KT specific or general semiconductor domain

Desired Candidate Profile

• This person should be academically sound and posses good communication and strong team leadership abilities.
• Should be able to drive complex requirements and design problems to closure within the constraints of the current system.
• Should have enough engineering background to gain a deep understanding of KLA-Tencor's domain and working of its tools.
